Foundation

The mission of the United Education Foundation is to raise funds and to independently allocate those funds to enhance the educational opportunities of the students and/or school.

The United Community Education Foundation has been formed to increase the educational opportunities of the United Community K-5 students. This will be achieved through the establishment of endowments to provide a stable source of ongoing funds as well as establishing an annual fund to support current financial needs. This goal cannot be accomplished without the support of parents, alumni, business owners and community members.

The Doug Sampson Story

Dr. Pauline Sampson, former United Community Superintendent, established the annual Doug Sampson memorial Scholarship in memory of her husband, Doug Sampson. Doug died on June 22, 2002. He believed strongly in a higher education benefiting a person’s job advancement opportunities. He often said, “God, Family, and Grades” to his own children. It was his way of helping them see the priorities of life.

The Doug Sampson Memorial Scholarship annually benefits one graduating senior who previously attended school at United Community. The United Education Foundation is seeking to expand scholarship opportunities such as this so that all former United Community seniors can receive scholarships.

United is a great school because it is fun and exciting. The teachers are always there if you are having problems with anything.
